I am a regular paramedic. The words I've written here are based on my experiences and ideas. I am not an official representative of the department I work for. Many of the things I've written occurred during the HHC-EMS days, before the merger with FDNY. If you're looking for insightful tips about medical calls or want to read the burnt out rantings of a disgruntled employee you will probably disappointed. I do complain about things that I dislike, but overall I love this job and it's potential for good. I am not an instructor, not part of any specialty unit, I don't have a long list of citations or awards. I'm just a regular person who, I believe, had some fun and special experiences that I treasure.
